ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
Description
This training explains the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study and identifies all 10 ACEs. All childhood experiences, especially traumatic events, have an impact on people as they mature. This training explores the long term effects that adverse childhood experiences have on physical and mental health. Preventative measures, resiliency, and how to address the needs of children with a high ACEs score are all discussed. Personal ACE’s test provided.

Sexual Health in Foster Care
Description
Sexual Health in Foster Care examines reproductive and sexual health in relationship to Child Welfare System children. Foster and older adopted youth often have higher rates of risky sexual behavior, negative sexual health outcomes & higher rates of sexual exploitation, and can become sexually active earlier than their peers. This training will help participants better understand the sexual health needs of youth with a background of trauma and how they can help meet these needs.
