ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
This training explains the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study and identifies all 10 ACEs.
All childhood experiences, especially traumatic events, have an impact on people as they mature.
This training explores the long-term effects that adverse childhood experiences have on physical and mental health. Preventative measures, resiliency, and how to address the needs of children with a high ACEs score are all discussed. Personal ACE’s test provided.

Attachment-focused care, including some practical tips on how to strengthen bonding to children. This training can help caregivers and professionals understand the basics of how attachment issues are extremely common in children who have experienced complex trauma. Attachment issues are often a core reason why caretakers and children have challenges in
placement and/or disrupt from the home.

Resiliency
This Resiliency Training provides information on how to foster resilience in children. This training looks at factors that affect resilience, the human adaptive process, ways to
successfully cope with trauma, and the 12 steps of successful survivors. The training ends with a discussion around how professionals and caregivers can help children feel safe,
capable and loveable. Great follow up to ACEs, but not necessary. Resiliency test provided.

Naloxone and Fentanyl: A detailed discussion
Naloxone has become a popular item for folks to carry and use in case of an Opioid overdose in users, but many do not really know what it does or the best way to use it. In addition, the Opioid Fentanyl has grown in popularity for youth and adults, and it is often added to other drugs unbeknownst to the user, which makes it even more dangerous. Learn more about the

This is a virtual state-wide support group intended for adoptive, foster, guardianship and kinship caregivers. A place to share concerns, resources and talk to others who understand! Does not matter which placing agency you used previously or are with currently. It is an honest, supportive environment with humor, honesty and ideas.
