Naloxone and Fentanyl: A detailed discussion
Naloxone has become a popular item for folks to carry and use in case of an Opioid overdose in

Fentanyl has grown in popularity for youth and adults, and it is often added to other drugs
unbeknownst to the user, which makes it even more dangerous. Learn more about the history of
Fentanyl in this training, details of how to use Naloxone, where to obtain it, and recommendations
on how to provide assistance. Content developed by Mark Varela, SUDP, Addictions Systems of Care Liaison with Coordinated Care

training will help professionals, caregivers and others understand the difference and learn some
practical suggestions on how to help youth feel a sense of control and safety in their environment.
